Who this covers

This policy describes how Inside Health HQ LLC ("we," "us") handles information collected through insidehealthhq.com. We are an ordering and delivery platform for lab testing — we do not operate our own laboratory. Lab work is performed by our clinical services partner's network of accredited labs, and orders are authorized by a licensed clinician as part of a telehealth relationship you consent to at checkout.

Information we collect

• Account information: your email address and name.
• Patient profile information: date of birth, gender, phone number, and mailing address — collected because our clinical partner requires this to create a patient record and place a valid lab order in your state.
• Order information: which panels you order, order status, and the consent records (telehealth and HIPAA authorization) you accept at checkout.
• Payment information: handled entirely by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number — only a payment confirmation and the last few digits for your own reference.
• Lab results: we do not store your structured result data in our own database. Results are held by our clinical services partner and streamed through to you on request when you view or download them — we only track whether a result is available yet.

How we use this information

Solely to create your account, verify you're eligible to order (including confirming your state is one we're licensed to serve), place and fulfill your lab order, process payment, communicate with you about your order (confirmations, results ready, order issues), and comply with recordkeeping obligations that apply to health testing services. We do not use your health information for advertising, and we do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Who we share it with

We share information only as needed to provide the service:

• PanelRoute (our clinical services platform) — receives your patient profile and order details to create your patient record, authorize the order through the ordering clinician, and route it to the testing lab.
• The testing laboratory (currently Quest Diagnostics) — receives what it needs to run your test and report results back through PanelRoute.
• Stripe — processes your payment. Stripe has its own privacy practices governing the payment data it handles directly.
• Resend — our transactional email provider, used only to send order-related emails (confirmations, results-ready notices, order issues).

Your health information is authorized for these disclosures under the HIPAA authorization you accept at checkout, and is shared only for treatment, payment, and operations purposes related to your order — never for marketing.

Data retention

We keep account and order records for as long as your account is active and as needed to satisfy recordkeeping obligations that apply to health testing services. If you request deletion of your account, we'll delete what we can, but some order and consent records may need to be retained longer where required by law.

Your rights

You can review and update your profile information any time from your account. To request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or request deletion, email orders@insidehealthhq.com.

Security

We use industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, access controls) to protect your information, and we rely on vetted third-party providers (Stripe for payment, PanelRoute for clinical/lab data) rather than building our own handling of the most sensitive pieces. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security of information transmitted over the internet.

Children's privacy

This service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to how we handle your information, we'll update this page and, where appropriate, notify you directly.
